That’s why they build customer-centered operational foundations that help business leaders scale with clarity, confidence, and control.

Katie McRae
Co-Founder, Customer Excellence & Strategic Planning Partner
Katie McRae is a Customer Success professional and Certified Director of Operations with over 15 years of experience helping businesses build customer relationships that last.
Her background spans technology, e-commerce, publishing, and supply chain, a mix that reflects her curious, generalist mindset and her belief that great customer experience is at the heart of sustainable growth, regardless of industry.
Her experience includes both corporate and startup environments, with roles across customer experience, partner development, product, marketing, and business development. Along the way, she's learned how to translate technical ideas for different audiences, build go-to-market strategies from the ground up, and turn cold pipeline into lasting relationships.
It's a thread that runs through her whole career. Whether managing enterprise freight accounts or overhauling a gym's renewal system, Katie has always been the person looking for ways to make the experience better, build smarter systems, and give people a reason to stick around.
Today, Katie brings that experience to her work with founders, especially those building without the benefit of a head start. She helps them build the operational foundations that make it easier to take care of customers and keep them coming back.
Keshara McRae
Co-Founder, Systems & Business Operations Partner
Keshara attended the University of Richmond , where she received her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and American Studies. After ditching a prospective law career, Keshara turned to operations and hasn't looked back since.
Now, half a decade later, Keshara is an operations and systems expert with a track record of turning complex, ambiguous challenges into practical systems that help businesses run better. Her experience spans emerging startups, growing businesses, and large corporate organizations, giving her a unique perspective on the operational challenges businesses face at different stages of growth. Her work has encompassed business operations, process architecture, technology implementation, project management, and data analysis.

At Gambit Ops, Keshara brings that same hands-on, problem-solving approach to helping business owners navigate what's next and build businesses that work better behind the scenes. She believes great systems should make work clearer, not more complicated, and that the best solutions are built around the people who actually use them.
When she's not working, Keshara enjoys tackling her TBR list, playing video games, and watching (and playing) sports. She also writes, loves trying new restaurants, and most importantly, hanging out with Katie and their son.
